Giving back to community

Dear Reader, 

I am sure most of you are liking what is been shared on this blog, today i am going to share different topic. some time few people think that how come it's relevant to topic which this blog. I highly recommend all of you to read this article then your might think what can be done about this topic, please write your feed-back in comments section. Following are purely my personal feeling nothing to do with any thing specific. 

Successful does not mean that we need to be rich or financially free or becoming great leader. Success means creating positive environment around us & inspiring others to be help full for this community, being an example for people around you. We always take lot of things from this community without realizing that we are taking, some times we take them for granted, some so times we feel that we are taking and giving in the form of tax so my job is done, but that is not true. We are paying the tax for utilizing the resources around us. Think about this doing some thing for your community. We can give some thing back to community by doing so many thing, in the form of $$$ (money) or time or helping Senior community people or giving 1hr (you can give more also) of volunteer work at public library or rising funds to charitable organisation. 

Giving back to community means not just giving money, but you can also volunteer your time for good cause. I realized this when me & my co-worker was volunteering for found rising for Family Giving Tree organization at work. I was thanking one person who gave us very generous amount of donation, that person said he should thank us for volunteering our time to rise founds. But we did not realized at that point of time, what we are doing. But that person explained us and helped us realize the power of what we did. We are able to rise $1500 for poor kids, which i am very happy to share. 

I know every one of us are busy with family & Friends and personal life, but i am sure we can do some thing for community and be an example for people around us. Please share your feed-back and recommendations in comments section.  

About book: 100 Quotations to Make you think!

Its been log time i shared good interesting inspired articles on this blog, but i am sure you are still enjoying this blog and sharing this blog with your family and friends. Today i am going to share with you about book which attracted my attention (100 Quotations to make you think - Wolfgang Riebe), i downloaded this book from iTunes store last week but not able to read much from this book, as i don't have iBooks on my laptop to read, but finally i am able to install iBooks and start reading this book. 

Reason i am sharing about that book is, when i start reading that book it attracted my attention with initial setup of quotes only i am going to share

Dear Readers,

I am very happy to come up with this new article. Till now I was writing articles & sharing videos and quotes which will inspire lot of us. First time I am writing this article on why I am doing this. I am sure if you are reading this blog means you want to do something different in your life. You don’t want to do something common which everybody does. For those things which you want to   you need lot of inspirations.

There is lot of negative all around us, which might pull us down from our goals. Don’t worry about such kind of people. If you look at people successful than us, they are the good examples for us. Most of you might know that… when someone are growing, there will be lot of critics.  One thing for sure if we don’t want to step out of our comfort zone, we can’t achieve much.Recently I was watching a movie (Business Man) in that movie final message was very interesting “If your goal is  10 miles ,aim for 11th mile”. 

We might come across couple of people saying you can’t do that…. Don’t worry about it….. Ignore them & try doing. Always my mentor says one thing.. Same words I read in so many books.  We need to remember the following things.

How you are going to be after 5 years is determined by following things:  

• The books you are reading now.
• The people you are associating now.
• Your daily habits (what you are doing on daily basis).

This is 100% true if you we do it with discipline. Everyone can become good at what we are doing if we do it with consistency and persistency.

If you take any successful person in any field they are big dreamers. So we need to dream about doing thing something. If you watch a movie called Guru (People says its Dhirubhai Ambani story, more Dhirubhai Ambani  quotes), that movie hero says one power full quote. “Dad told me not to see dream, but I saw the dream by keeping my eye open”. I translated  to English so that more number of people across the world can understand. But it is always true. If we can’t dream, we can’t create any thing in life. But for sure every human can dream and try achieve better. They need to try even if other criticizes them.

Have a goal - 2012

Dear Readers,

It's great to start new year with happy moments.. I am sure most you achieved all the goals you set for 2011 & you have your plan for 2012. If not, its never too late. You can start planing for 2012. Don't let this year pass by without achieving any thing.

Always my mentor says without goal we can't achieve anything in life. I am sure that's true when we don't know where to go... we will stay at the same place.

You are the best at achieving your goals... you may want to be best at your work and achieve some special position or design some thing new. You might want to achieve your financial goals or savings goal. 

You might want to achieve higher education. I am going to give you some tips which might help.

First identify what you want to achieve in different areas of life & write them down.

Once you put your annual goals on a paper, split them into quarterly.... monthly.... and weekly goals. Clearly write down what you need to do on a daily basis.. Initially it might not be easy to adopt the change.... so start with small steps. 

Show your goal sheet to your loved ones and promise them that you are going to achieve your goals for this year. Once we promise to loved ones we will put our heart at achieving our goals.

Now take 2 copies of your goal sheet & paste on a mirror or any location where you see every day & other one in your pocket. Read it daily twice when you wake-up, before going to bed. This will help you to focus on your goal.

Do weekly progress reviews to know where are you...?.

I used this to achieve my goals in 2011. I am sure this works. If you think this is going to help some one you know share with them.

He asks one of his new students to stand and…..
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes..
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)
Prof: You can’t answer, can you? Let’s start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From….God…
Prof: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student: No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn’t exist.
What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student: No sir. There isn’t.
(The lecture the after becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat..
But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)
Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?
Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light…..But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought.. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is
not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)
Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)
Prof: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.
Student: That is it sir… The link between man god is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving alive.
